Tostan, which means “breakthrough” in the Wolof language, is an international nonprofit organization headquartered in Dakar, Senegal. This program has spent over 24 years developing a way to put communities in charge of their own futures through a grassroots, comprehensive education program.
Austin College has supported Tostan for 10 years by:
- an annual dinner in the Spring to raise awareness
What you can do!
- The event date is March 1st , at 7pm. in Mabee Hall.
- The artwork will be displayed in the Johnson Gallery and will be open from 6:15 pm for mocktails and an art preview.
